A game created for Brackeys Game Jam 2026.1

When the world gets strange, you don’t send a hero. You send a rover.

You are Drift, a research rover deployed to investigate a remote desert sector filled with weird zones and unexplained signals. Something has altered this place. Distorted readings, unidentified lifeforms, and scattered energy signatures pulse beneath the dunes.

Designed to wander. Programmed to discover.

Explore the shifting sands, carefully frame your targets, collect the Strange Energy scattered across the terrain, and complete every objective to fully map the sector.

About the Developer

Hi, I’m Eric. I’ve been developing serious games and interactive Unity projects professionally for over 8 years.

Having a deadline definitely helped me focus on what really mattered. Even though I still have hundreds of ideas I’d love to add (probably too many ;)).

I’ve always wanted to create a game centered around a motorized vehicle. After one intense week of development completely “in the zone”, this project came to life.

I’m genuinely proud of this game and had a great time building it.
